Old 20 Dollar Note & Moraine Lake

This picture and the one with Emerald Lake were taken during a trip to the Canadian Rockies in July 2023. These notes are actually older Canadian notes no longer in circulation, but were a part of the Canadian landscape series featuring beautiful Canadian sceneries. Moraine Lake, also known as the “Jewel of the Canadian Rockies” truly lives up to its nickname. An absolutely gorgeous lake where you have to take a shuttle to get to it. The shuttle reservations open 2 days in advance and quickly fill up. I had to be up around 7:30am to book in time. Once we got there it was a short 5 minute hike up to a pile of rocks and then down to the edge of the water where this picture was taken. Beautiful lake and very busy there as well!
