2 Dollar Note & Declaration of Independence

I went to Boston for a debate conference and after it I decided to go visit friends in Washington DC. I also knew that most of American notes have government buildings in DC on the back (except for the $100 note), and that made for a perfect day trip to DC! My friend and I took a day out to explore DC and walk around and also take currency project pictures. This was a more unique picture primarily because it wasn’t a building but a painting, and this painting was only accessible by signing up for a tour of the US Congress. My friend and I went in and had to sit through a mini movie and a nearly hour long tour to get to the end where we entered a hall and found the painting of the Declaration of Independence. The tour guide loved it when we told him about the project, and he referred to my friend and I as the “Canadian Photographers” because I was wearing a “University of Toronto” sweater!
