2 Rupee Coin & Badshahi Mosque

I took this picture when I went to Lahore on for a conference in 2016. It was after the conference, when I had to go back to Islamabad. My flight was scheduled for 9:30am, and I had to make sure to get to the airport on time, so my friends and I went to Badshahi Mosque early in the morning at 6am. However, the mosque was closed then and we could not go in. I knew I wouldn’t be able to take the picture for a while if I don’t right now, so I risked it and decided to come to the mosque at 8am again. I knew it would be hard to get an Uber back to the hotel, so I asked the Uber driver to wait there so I could call just him for a ride back. I ran to go inside and took a picture of Badshahi Mosque with a 500 rupee note, but I did not have a 2 rupee coin, which I remembered also has the Badshahi mosque on it. So I went outside and found a woman who was asking for money. I asked her if she has coins, and she showed me her small bag where she had a 2 rupee coin. I gave her the 500 rupee note in exchange for the 2 rupee coin, ran back inside, and took another picture with the 2 rupee coin and the mosque. I then ran back to the hotel, quickly packed up, and made it for my flight with 10 minutes to spare!
